Our Enrollment Process

At Chibi Chan Preschool and Chibi Chan Too, we are dedicated to providing an inclusive and welcoming environment for all families. We operate on a non-discriminatory basis, ensuring equal access to our programs regardless of race, color, national origin, or ancestry.

Age Requirements

Toddler Classrooms (Caterpillars & Dolphins)
Children must be at least 2 years old at the time of enrollment. Potty training is not required for children enrolling at age 2.
Preschool Classrooms (Butterflies, Astronauts, & Sharks)
Children must be at least 3 years old and fully potty trained. The maximum enrollment age is 5 years old.

Priority Enrollment

✔ JCYC and Chibi Chan staff & affiliates
✔ Siblings of current or past enrolled families
✔ Families who have participated in other JCYC programs
✔ Families of the Rose Court Community/Booker T Washington Community Service Center
✔ Teachers, non-profit employees, and single-parent families

Waitlist Process

Enrollment vacancies are filled from our waitlist. To be placed on the waitlist, families must submit:
- A completed Application for Enrollment form
- The Admission Procedures and Waiting List Policies form
- A $100 non-refundable application fee (waived for income-eligible families)
